Hey guys, I've been practicing on color-editing some of the comics showing some age. Here's an edit of page 30 from Cowgirl Romance 01. I just wanted to get your guys' opinion/critique.

I prefer to see the signs of age myself even though there's some abuse I could do without (Comic Books are not coasters folks). CDisplay has a yellow reduction feature for people who are bugged by that sort of thing.

I'm not bugged by too much of the aging, but I do prefer to see the colors and inks a little more richer.. though maybe my edit pushed that a little too far.

If you are interested in doing edits on raw scans NARFSTAR is usually looking for help.
He quite often uploads his scans 'raw' or unedited to hear and Comic Book Plus where you usually find him.

We strongly advise people to contact the original scanner before uploading a re-edit.
People have differing views on the topic.  Narf welcomes them while Snard doesn't want any done.

Nice Geo, there's definitely something nice about seeing the original paper color. Here's a second edit with my first version brought down to 50% layered over the original image.

Thanks for the heads up, Yoc. I wasn't planning to upload anything, just practicing for my own personal use. I'll gladly help out with any photoshop work you guys need, since I don't have any golden-age comics of my own to contribute
