Thanks Eric! It's been a blast running another of our Peter Wheat spotlights like this. I sure hope we can do another sometime down the road. I hope we've brought some new fans of these giveaways. They were a revelation to me when I got my first look at them from scans you shared way back when.

And our final Peter Wheat Wednesday for this round has arrived. Today has the debut of Peter Wheat News #28, along with updates to 29 and 30, giving us a complete story by the great Walt Kelly!
If our current assumption that Peter Wheat News ended at 63 is correct... and we haven't seen any issues higher than 63 in 15 years of searching... we now have over half the run with complete, paper scans, and 2/3 of the run with paper scans of the comics, at least. We are definitely making progress on presenting this nearly lost classic.

Hi Gang! We've got two new scans for you today. One competes a run and the other fills a hole in the collection. Many thanks to Mark Boersma and Mark Bowen for all their hard work finding and sharing these very cool books with us on DCM!

You are quite welcome, Robb, and thank you for your comments. Peter Wheat is one of those series that has a small but devoted following, so it really does help Yoc and me to know we're reaching people with these.

Thanks so much, Eric, for uploading #42, and the 40-42 Omnibus, so we can finally read that complete story! Little by little we're closing in on the complete set of Peter Wheat publications.

We could still use paper scans of Peter Wheat News #40, if anybody ever comes across a copy. But we have not too bad pictures of the pages, and brand new paper scans of the #42 to go with the #41 we already had, so enjoy this now complete story by the Del Connell/ Al Hubbard team!
