Most of the book's 90 pages is a single story arc: office boy Smitty's boss buys an airplane and converts it into a flying office, and flying office's require office boys.  It's a long gentle story that is not overpowered by the gags, and a wonderful read.  Shorter but still good is the Dog Laundry arc, and then a few single pagers.   This is from 1929/30 and is about 7 or 8 years into Smitty's great 50+ year run.

Interesting and fun stories. I note that page 3 of the story is out of sequence -- that page should come after pages 4 and 5 -- but it looks as if the original was printed that way! Great example of a continuity strip mixing action and humor.
