searching for a comic
« on: September 06, 2015, 09:54:26 AM »
Can anybody help with this?
When I was very young I remember reading a comic book story about two spacemen. The plot which I vaguely remember, goes something like this;
 the two spacemen encounter reefs or some sort of obstacle in space, they hit it, and then they tumble through space until they finally come to a stop. The comic strip was in colour and one of the characters was named Jake Radic. (when I search for this online, not surprisingly I get loads of Serbian references!)
In the final part of the story one of the characters says something like "........they say that only the dead can see the reefs(?) of space. and we're not dead. OR ARE WE ?" . The last frame shows a very stark picture of one of the characters asking this last question.
I do not remember the the name of this comic. Does anyone know what the name of the story is and where it can be found ?
Thanks

Grimaldi, could you possibly narrow down the time frame? You know when you were very young, but I/we don't.
Plot doesn't ring any bells, but since you said the story was in color it would rule out a lot of the B&W magazines. Unless, of course, it was one of those color stories published in an otherwise B&W magazine.

I checked that name through GCD with no hits on it. Maybe someone else here will know the answer for you.
