I for one would like to vote for AVON.
All that wonderful Everett Raymond Kinstler art.

What is the next company going to be?

Well, the first two spotlights (Fox, Hillman) just kinda fell into our laps.

Sadly, Avon is not in the running for a spotlight, as the number of books we have access to is very small.

As for the next company, that will begin in the next 36-48 hours or so

Hi B,
It's about what is available out there and which the scanners would like to pursue.  Not everyone will be featured.

I guess we have to wait a day or two to find out which company! Oh the suspense!

I'd probably vote for filling in holes in Columbia or Chesler or St. John or Quality or Harvey. (Though I've not double checked how many holes there are in those companies' titles.)

It's all good. (Though I do hope it won't be a Charlton spotlight! That company has had moments of quality (Ditko and Pete Morisi art come to mind), but over-all the hacked out pages just make me cringe.)

Hmmmm....
http://morttodd.com/charlton.html

I can fully understand someone being nostalgic for Charlton. If their books had an impact on you at the right age, you'll have positive memories. But I wil say that one of the side effects of looking through so many comics here at DCM has been that I've seen work by Alascia or Trapani or Mastroserio or Nicholas from when they were really trying hard to be their best, and it mostly depresses me to see so much of their Charlton work in later years when they were just bashing it out. Tragic, really.  YMMV, I realize.
