Newbie Loves Plastic Man
« on: November 18, 2012, 04:22:01 PM »
As a kid I was able to afford only a few Plastic Man comics.  It was only years later that I was able to remember a few things that
were obviously tongue-in-cheek humor, such as a mention of "Brun and Dad Street".  Also some of the shapes he assumed had
to have special meaning to older readers - I was a relatively clueless country kid.

I also think it could be a lot of fun to examine the potential for such a character in real life situations.  For example, you could
change a light bulb in the ceiling without getting up from your recliner.  Also it would be easy to take a shower by assuming the
shape of a basketball - it would be very easy to dry off afterwards, etc.
