cbr glitch

My cbr files won't open. I get the word balloon icon in the taskbar but not on screen. When I click that I get black sequential reader file pages, but also only in the taskbar nothing on screen. tried re=downloading cbr but that didn't help.

Hi Kevin,
Which books are you trying to read?  And are you using CDisplay or a different app?
I've found CDisplay doesn't like files made with rar type '5' which is the default in newer versions of rar making apps.

Same result with files downloaded as rar, cbr cbz or files I created myself.

Hi Kevin,
Can you read any files at all?  What application are you using to read cbr/cbz files and have you updated it recently?
Our problem with cbr files you download from the site should be fixed now and there's never been any problems with cbz files.
If you can't read your own files we can assume it's something going on with your system.
