This is in regard to the Shel Dorf awards, to be awarded at Detroit Fanfare in late September. Nominations are needed for comic creators and also comic related journalist and general contribors to comic fandom.
The awards were created in honor of the late Shel Dorf, a founder of the original Detroit Triple Fan Fair, the first ongoing annual gathering of comic book enthusiasts. Shel would later go on to found the Dan Diego Comic Con.
I am closely affiliated with the organizers of this event, and would be grateful for any participation in the nomination and later voting process.
