  No doubt that's what threw me off--there's nothing "good" to die young about these books.

Working on a brief intro essay on the odd provenance of these things, the short version being that Catholic Comics are Charlton comics in all but name in an era when Charlton comics were Lloyd Jacquet comics in all but name.

Sparkling Stars #19

68 pages, c2c.  My comic, scan, and edit, with JVJ's info card added.

Just added to the Charlton section:

A new version of Tim McCoy #19.  Completely different scan, c2c, replacing the lo-res, incomplete copy I previously posted.

This series is now complete, cover to cover.

I'll also update that section to the three-numeral issue number format.

Tim McCoy #19 is still missing 2 pages. If the filenames are any indication it will be pages 15 and 16.
