Bob Lubbers did a lot of work for Rangers Comics and Wing Comics for Fiction House in the 1940s & some Human Fly for Marvel in the 1970s.
Apparently his last name was pronounced "loobers" though I never pronounced it that way.

Very sad news.  I've always thought it was pronounced 'loobers' as well.


BTW, could I please ask you to not use all the text formatting in your messages?  Most of them don't work.  I've removed them from your posts so they read at a normal size.  There  is a max number allowed by the SMF software.
I've found using bold and a colour, perhaps one more and that's it works best.

Marvel's "Fabulous Flo" Steinberg (March 17, 1939 - July 23, 2017) passed away July 23.  Anyone that read Marvel in the silver age will know her name.  She was a big part of the fun in the House of Ideas.
