Project Golden Age: Italian translation of some PD Comic Book masters
John C:
There's no harm in asking, but generally, what you see is what you get.
If Jim has an unscanned copy of something you need, you might be able to bribe one of the JVJ scanners with postage, but it seems that everything that isn't already paper is that way because nobody has a paper copy to scan.
Alessandro Bottero:
i know it, and i always thanks the gods of comicdom for all i can get here. really, i'm serious.
mine was just a "silly" request, just to express a little problem i have with some files. But it's only a minor issue. almost everything i want to re-print is in very good shape (some Matt Baker stuff is simply awesome, like Canteen Girl, or Seven Seas), and i'm sure Italian fan will love it.
you must understand this: in Italy Golden Age is 99% Superman, Batman, Captan America, Sub-Mariner, and some other National/DC and Timely/Marvel stuff.
Publishing houses like Quality, St.John, Dell, Harvey, Fiction, Fox, and many others are almost totally unknown, because no one published them in the last 40 years.
narfstar:
