Kansas City Planet Comic Con
« on: December 08, 2010, 10:25:36 AM »
Find out about it here:
http://www.planetcomicon.com/

It's going to be at the Overland Park Trade Center (same as last year) in Kansas near the Missouri State Line March 26-27th. I've been going to it for a few years now and it is always fun. Even waiting in line , we got to watch a guy bring out his Star Wars Droid and made it dance and stuff via remote control. It was cool! They haven't put up who is going to be there this year but they usually don't until late January early Febuary and can change even to the last minute. Like last year Tom Kane wasn't billed as a guest (The voice actor for Yoda, Magneto, Professor Plutonium and others) but he was there.  8)

I can post some of our pictures from last year and earlier events if you guys want to see some.

Daniel Logan is also scheduled to appear. He played the young Boba Fett in Star Wars 2: Attack of the Clones, and some voice acting.

Gary Freidrich , the creator of Ghost Rider, was there. Also I met a guy from Airship 27 publications, which is a group that takes public domain pulp fiction characters such as Green Lama or Captain Hazzard and writes new fiction in the grand pulp style. I grabbed a copy of their 'Mars McCoy: Space Ranger volume 1' which is a sci-fi character in the Buck Rogers, or Flash Gordon mold.
