This title sometimes featured horror tales,  this issue, however, contains only crime stories.

From the look of the original scan, the centerfold (pp 17-20) was missing. The text story is pages 18 and 19, and the incomplete splash is page 20. So only page 17 is unaccounted for (possibly an ad) -- although obviously we want the entire centerfold should it become available.

Using GCD I now see that the text story "Smart Cons Don't Lie" was later reprinted in FIGHT AGAINST CRIME #20.  So those 2 text pages from that issue could be used to reconstruct that part of this issue #12 in a more readable way.  Unfortunately I couldn't find any record on GCD of the story "Fires of Death" being reprinted anywhere, so that we could reconstruct that missing first page.
