Wow! That seems really progressive for that time, to focus on the hero's girlfriend as the hero for an issue and even giving giving her the cover! And without making her a knock-off sidekick like Hawkgirl, Doll Girl, or Lightning Girl. The only other similar situation I can think of was when Fox gave Blue Beetle's girlfriend, Joan Mason her own separate feature with her own adventures (way before DC did the same with Lois Lane). I wonder if Novelty was trying this out to see if she could also support her own separate, ongoing adventures.
