This is indeed the first issue. If you look closely you will see the date as mar-Apr just under and to the right of Bughouse. It is difficult to see due to the brown coloring of the cover but it is there. The Mar-Apr issue was the first of 4 issues in the run. The last issue #4 was dated Sept-Oct 1954.
