The first appearance of the durable Blue Beetle, looking quite different in a blue business suit, hat, and googles.  Several other origins but nothing as historic as the Blue Beetle.  I liked the art of Rex Dexter of Mars (also in his debut) and the rather rushed Mandrake clone, Zanzibar, (with a pair of Swiss Knife eyeballs able to shoot various kinds of rays) was fun.  And the comic does, I think, offer one of the now common names for superheroes, ie mystery men.  Several stories can be skimmed.  There is also a text story by William E Eisner.

At Last ! I have found Rex Dexter again to enjoy in my Twilight years.
Thank you all very much.
