The first page is a black-and-white recap of what stories are carried in the issue, including one on Bonnie of Bonnie and Clyde fame.

Edna Murray, the Kissing Bandit: She apparently was a beautiful woman and had lots of men fighting over her (literally). She ended teaming up with one guy who was a crook and so she became a crook also. Eventually they get caught. She manages to escape from prison, joins up with other crooks and again is a terror as a robber until finally the police catch her.

Bonnie and Clyde: They were actually involved with a larger group, but bit by bit the group was cut down in number. Bonnie was in a car crash where she was badly burned, and later the two were killed by police.

The Wild Genna Brothers: This was a group of six brothers in Chicago. They ended up working for Al Capone. The brothers were brutal killers and were mainly focused on taking over territory from other gangsters. This, of course, didn't sit well with the other gangsters and eventually they managed to kill most of the brothers.

Murder in Lover's Lane (text): A guy murders a woman and the police are able to use imprints from sand to convict the thug.

The Case of the Emerald Robbery: A crook and his gang plan to steal a woman's jeweled necklace, but things don't go exactly as planned, especially when they run into a non-magician magician.
