Even though the typeset byline uses Sterrett's name, the lack of his signature within these dailies suggests to me that they are by a ghost (Doc Winner? no idea?), who nevertheless manages an interestingly excellent imitation. This move to Sundays-only work for Sterrett is earlier than I would've expected: The 1937 Sunday pages are signed by him. [Did Bungle Family dailies come with this 1937 haul as well?]
