Another vandalized scan--please, PLEASE stop trying to "improve" these scans--just present them as-is! PLEASE! |

Easy to read, clear, his comic, his edit, his way.. Thanks for sharing |

Looks fine to me. Appreciate the generosity of all scanners who contribute to this site. |

While complaining about the scanner settings on a free comic isn't the best form, I know exactly what the first commenter means. When you scan, you can set it for hard contrast and make the natural buff paper color turn white. In theory this ups the legibility; in reality, I'm not so sure. The scans aren't the best looking because this was done to them. But the sharing is the thing and since I didn't offer a better scan of the same comic, I'll just add my "Thanks" and move on. |

I agree with the criticism of the scan, yes I know it's free, but I think part of the point is to preserve these for the future. To me the scan appears too bleached-out. I would prefer seeing the yellowed paper and all, as it would look if you were looking at the real thing. |

Well, at least I can read it - it does seem a bit bleached, but I only noticed after reading these posts. At least it's not an old blurry fiche, hmmm? At least the cover to this comic isn't as eye-blastingly yellow as Ziff-Davis's Wild Boy v1 #10......which is pretty much the same cover. |
