The issue shown in GCD is an Australian edition.  The issue here is a 6d. (6 penny) British edition - the original, having been published by Foldes Press in Joppa, nr. Edinburgh.  The series ran from #5 - #33 (#6 was not numbered) and somewhere along the line became Western Super Thriller. Previously it was The Thriller.  Title(s) ran from 1948 till sometime in the 50's.  There was also an annual in 1957.  Foldes Press were the original publishers but WDL soon had their logo on the covers.
