The ads are part of the comic book. I want to have the ads. Sometimes they are more interesting than the stories. They are a part of what makes the old comics interesting.

I'll add to that. As a researcher, ads are VERY important to leave in the digital file. They give valuable historical context. I've noticed lots of small things by paying attention to the ads.
