Beautifully scenic inside front cover!
Art on all these early Dell Gene Autry Comics is by Jesse Marsh.
Gene Autry Comics is my all-time favorite western comic, and I highly recommend these and also the early Dell Johnny Mack Brown comics, which are also drawn by Jesse Marsh.
Marsh's art is greatly underrated by many fans of musclebound super hero art and overwrought bad art of many of the fan favorite artists.
In my opinion Jesse Marsh's art is even better than that of somewhat similar art of Alex Toth.
Both Marsh and Toth were masters of blacks in art.
However, Toth's art at its most extreme reminds me of black and white TV with contrast set way too high.
Marsh was great on scenery, and his Tarzan the family man is my favorite Tarzan.

After readng Dell Tarzan, what kid didn't dream of living in a tree house with an exotically beautiful mother Jane (definitely not Englishwoman in the Dell version) and heroic man-around-the-jungle father Tarzan,  and adventuring in lost civilizations with dinosaurs etc.

Dell comics WERE good comics, and the comics of Jesse Marsh were some of the best Dell comics!

Thanks, Dell4C!
