Two things about these comics: first, they were meant as party favors, packaged by Lowe in a box of puzzles and noisemakers, possibly for Christmas stockings or New Year's favors, or simply for birthday parties.  Second, and most important, Overstreet, and everyone else who calls these comics Mighty Midget Comics, are wrong.  True, Mighty Midget Comics were published by Samuel Lowe too--and true, some of them were packaged in the same party-favor boxes these came in--but the Mighty Midget Comics were all Chesler reprints, are of a different size (wider and taller), and are actually quite readable compared to these awful Fawcett miniatures (the only thing they've been called that I will agree with).  Oh yeah, their only other redeeming feature is that they are the only place you can collect issues titled BALBO, BOY MAGICIAN, COMMANDO YANK, and PHANTOM EAGLE.

I think the #11 or #12 may have been a series number.. there are 6 11's and 4 12's. I don;t have my overstreet near by.. but are the Chesler reprints in any type or serialized numbers?  1-10 or 7-10 possibly?
