Not bad for a fiche, readable. With such a rare title you take what you can get and don't quibble too much. Even at this early date Jack Cole's art is head and shoulders above the rest of the efforts in this comic.

Just for clarification, the first Claw story was drawn by Don Rico, who also drew the first appearance of Daredevil. Rico did a lot of art on Captain America and also worked on some of the Classics Illustrated books, though I don't recall which titles, offhand. Many of the Claw stories were drawn by longtime Biro associate Bob Wood, who had the good taste to occasionally swipe some of his Claw figures from Jack Cole!

Error! Error! The first Daredevil story was drawn by Jack Binder, not Don Rico as I said in my previous comment. He even signed it. That's what happens when I rely on my memory for these things. I'm pretty sure Rico did the first Claw story, anyway. Unless I'm mistaken (again) Jack Cole's first work on this great character was the spectacular "Daredevil vs. The Claw" story that's included somewhere in these Silver Streak files (but don't ask ME to remember which issue).

NOTE - The Claw story that starts this issue was reprinted in Daredevil Comics #21 at the back of the book. It's much easier to read there. You can find it here: https://digitalcomicmuseum.com/preview/index.php?did=31131&page=46&nav=top
