I still remember how the S.P.C.A. pulled a girl named Mary out of her cruel foster parents' home on a Cruelty To Animals warrant after a lady discovered her sad circumstances. It was a wonderful act of kindness and I was very touched by it. Mary's case was the first known successful child rescue that I am aware of.

A nice clear scan. Ace resuscitated a couple of it's old pulp hero's for this comic. The Raven appears to be the Moon Man under a different name, and X the Phantom Fed is the comic book version of Secret Agent X. A very enjoyable book well worth a download.

The last story, Whiz Wilson, scientific genius with a futuroscope (strapped to his body) that shifts him around in time and space (including interstellar travel) with great precision, is kind of cool, and my favorite here. It has typical GA kinetic narrative energy but with an unusual, and imaginative, premise. I hope to be able to read more of his adventures.
I just remembered that Alan Moore in the later Miracleman stories had a race called Warpsmiths who could move any distance in space (not time) instantly and it was a formidable power, Whiz uses his device with the same kind of ingenuity Moore used, more so even since Whiz can move about in time too, and the narrative logic of it all is strong.
