What one issue of a comic book is your Holy Grail, no matter the price or rarity would you like to have for your collection?
In other words, what one issue of a comic book would you like to have, but you do not currently own?
Mine would be Avengers 1. Originally got it from a neighbor lady, when her boys grew up, in about 1970 or so.
Traded it away seven years later to a collector was a adult.
Drats, I wish I still had it!

Maybe TOPS #1 or 2.

Silver Streak #6 but I know it's worth waaaay more than I'd ever even consider.
But it's likely my all-time favourite GA cover. Pep Comics #9 is another I love.

Hard to say. I've gotten a lot of books that would normally be grail books; amazingly.
If I had to pick just one, I would probably go for All-American #16. Because it's the hardest Scribbly appearance to afford.l

Any one of the 50 cent giant Fawcett Xmas Comics (324 page ones, not the 194 pagers), each containing a mixed bag of stories from past Fawcett books.

Wonder Comics #1. i find the whole situation with WonderMan fascinating. i re-read that story every 6 months or so.

In that case, Twiztor...keep watchin'!

Either "Detective Comics" #20, the first appearance of The Crimson Avenger, or #22, the first issue he appeared on a cover. Of course, I want to read these stories, not just own them. Problem is I don't have the money for a copy of either comic and DC won't make a Archive Edition for a character like this.

Myself, it would be more then just one as I can't decide on just one special issue. There are so many fine issues I would want, and not just from the Golden Age either, there some fine Silver Age books too I would want. Example: The Brave and the Bold #28-30 are at the top of my list for Silver Age.
