Title: New online cover gallery: The Blonde in a Red Dress!
Post by: Kevin Yong on March 18, 2017, 11:27:39 PM
Hi all! Hopefully this is the right corner of the website for this.

Just wanted to share a new Golden Age comic website I've started: http://www.blondeinred.com/

The site is  a tongue-in-cheek tribute to "the most popular comic book cover girl of the Golden Age" -- a nameless woman in a red dress with blond shoulder-length hair. I first noticed her being traced multiple times on the covers of Eerie by Avon, and the idea sort of took on a life of its own from there. (A longer explanation of the premise & inspiration behind the blog is here: http://www.blondeinred.com/about/)

Each day I'll post a new cover featuring this ubiquitous Blonde in a Red Dress. I plan to update Monday through Friday for as long as I can keep up the pace. All the cover scans I'm using so far have been taken from here at the DCM (and/or ComicBookPlus). So thank you all for providing the cover resources I'm starting from! Let me know if you have any questions or comments. I hope you enjoy it!  :)

Hi Kevin,
Yep, this is the right place.  Hmm, I never noticed it but your blog certainly proves this woman sure found herself in a lot of covers!
Good luck with finding more covers with her.
