Title: Golden Age comics copyright or Public Domain
Post by: blueyes on December 10, 2015, 04:52:27 PM

I have many comics on my hard drive
recently I did not know how to explain to a policeman
These comics are not piracy
which it is the legal basis used to download, reprint, or have these comics in USA ?
I want to explain properly to an authority

how it affects the Golden Age comics
 Mickey Mouse Protection Act
legal appointment?
I appreciate your comments

Why are the police looking at your hard drive?

Another source to explain the public domain (and good luck with it all, many in the US govt don't have a clue)

the question is what country are you in?

if you are not in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, NZ, Japan or Western Europe then it is pretty much a given that your police are 90% corrupt and the cop is looking for any angle he can to extort and or blackmail you.
