Title: Free Comic Book Day Saturday

Just an open message. Anyone interested in Free Comic Book Day this Saturday?  This is far away from the sort of old public domain  comics  offered for free on DCM.  I like  to check  out the new comics. The printing quality is fantastic but they don't  tell stories anymore. They are all special effects and no substance. No beginning, middle and end. The new Avengers movie is going to be a big hit on Friday. They usually spend most of the time fighting each other. Maybe this one will be more interesting.  I miss the Dells and Disney comics.  They were more fun. Indywesternfan  Brian

Yep a lot of us wait for this to happen every year. Some of the books are interesting and very well done. it's fun to see what coming out.
Myself I'm going to see the new Avengers Movie in a week or two with my daughter.

Would hope that a lot of our folks here checks out the Free Comic Book Day, I know I am.

The only real good thing about the Marvel and DC movies is that they make my old DC and Marvel books worth a little more.
