About the new Approved Comics #6 (St. John)... you have a diff ver under the title Daring Adventures 006.
Also, the #4 is a reprint of Ziff-Davis's Kid Cowboy #2.
And, in the same St. John misc section:
Invisible Boy 002 (aka Approved Comics#2)
Crime On The Run #8 (aka Approved Comics #8) -fixed
Crime On The Run #8 (aka Approved Comics#8)(RAW VERSION) -fixed
Northwest Mounties 004 (aka Approved #12) (reprint of the real NWM 4)
To make things much worse...
Approved 1 & 7 are included in the Hawk section with The Hawk title; they are reprints of Ziff-Davis issues;
Approved 3 (2 versions) are included under Wild Boy but with the Approved title (it's another Ziff-Davis reprint);
Approved 11 is included in the Fighting Marines section with the title: "Fightin' Marines 011 (Approved Comics reprint)"... it's a reprint of FM#3;
and one of the ones dcm doesn't have, Approved #9, is a reprint of Western Bandit Trails #3;
but it's listed in the WBT section Description as: " #9 (7/54) Reprints #3 with new Baker cover"; no mention of 'Approved'.
so... should the 2 new 'Approved' (and all others) be changed to their cover titles (the new ones would be Kid Cowboy 4, Daring Adv 6), or should All the others be changed to Approved #whatever, and be put in a separate new section?
Enjoy!

Well, that's a nice can of worms there Len.
Super-Sized even. *sigh*
I'm going to follow GCD's lead and just give Approved their own section. It's the easiest solution.

Hi,
the gcd isn't great either. They have Hawk 5 and Approved 1 (same comic) listed as separate comics (also Hawk 6 & Approved 7).
Don't forget to move the other "Daring Adventures 006 (dig cam) -fixed" (if you're in the middle of doing this, my apologies).
A small error: you titled Approved #12 as Approved "COMCS"
And I have to return to Fightin' Marines: the section desc says:
Issues Published: 12 (#2 - #11 [13])
(It was old info from a gcd mess-up; they have the Approved 11 listed as FM "11 [13]"; I'm going to try to correct them).
So, the desc should say:
Issues Published: 12 (#1[15] - #12); plus Approved #11 (reprint of #3)
And (don't hate me), the "FM 11 reprint" ahould be titled:
"Approved Comics #11, reprint of Fightin' Marines 03"
(this would be the same pattern used under Wild Boy, where the title is Approved #3, not WB #3)

I think I've got them sorted.
GCD says 'cover has Approved Comics #1, indicia says this is The Hawk, Vol. 1 #5.
Which was actually a reprint of Ziff Davis' #1 - can you say complicated?!? So it could fit in either Approved or The Hawk. Considering the file name when downloaded is Hawk #5 I'll put it back into The Hawk section and make a note in the description of the Approved section. Wild Boy 3 has been moved to the approved section. Someone could do a nice upgrade on the inc version with Carl's version.
I've removed Narf's digital scan of Daring Adventure. It was essentially a filler 'til now. Typos to be fixed next.

Looks good!
As for " GCD says 'cover has Approved Comics #1, indicia says this is The Hawk, Vol. 1 #5" , it's another gcd semi-flop. The indicia has both of the titles & numbers, as is usual with all the Approveds.
Anyway, keeping the Hawks together looks like a good idea. Even the later issues are reprints, although the stories are from assorted comics.
You can rest now! ;)

Phew! ;)

The problem is for the Approved Comics series, St. John numbered the two Hawk issues differently than all the others.
So they usually say
Vol 1. No. X Issue Title Date
(Approved Comics)
where the X is the Approved Comics series number
But for the two Hawk issues, the format is
Vol. 1 No. X The Hawk Date
(Approved Comics No. Y)
where the X is now The Hawk series number and the Approved Comics number is moved into the Y slot.
So it is confusing. I'll see if I can make it make sense over on the GCD.

Thanks Jim

Thanks from me, too. I was trying to straighten out the gcd entries for the past few days.

I saw that Len so I backed off and leave the new ones to you. I did upload the scans of all the indicia from here.
