Title: PGX and CGC Stories, Does anyone have any interaction positive or negative?

I have been trying to educate myself on the pros and cons of these "yuck" slabbing companies.

I have a few books that I am considering sending in but I am extremely hesitant.

Has anyone have any dealings with them either positive or negative?

I have tried to figure out CGC.  The price you pay is determined by the grade of the comic, so how can you pay before you have the book graded?
You have to guestimate?
