Title: A-1 troubles
Post by: freddyfly on January 20, 2014, 11:20:09 PM
Hi,
Uploading A-1 #5 made me look through the section, and I think it needs a major fix. There are Many comics under A-1 that should be in the miscellaneous section, with the more-obvious ones being the 2 titles with more than one issue:

A-1 Comics 100 - Badmen of the West 01.cbr  &
A-1 Comics 120 - Badmen of the West 02
should be 'Badmen of the West 01 (A-1 100)', etc.

A-1 Comics 111 - I'm A Cop #1
A-1 Comics 126 - I'm a Cop 02 -JVJ
A-1 Comics 128 - I'm A Cop #3 (15 pgs)
should be 'I'm A Cop #1 (A-1 111)', etc.

Even the single issues like 'A-1 Comics 090 - Red Hawk 11_JVJon' should be moved,  OR...
all the singles with A-1 numbers in the miscellaneous pile (like 'Red Fox 015 [A1#108]') should be move into the A-1s.

It's gotta be one way or the other... right now the separation makes no sense.

The gcdb only includes the first 12 issues under 'A-1'; they say:
"Only issues #1-12 are indexed here. All other issues are dually-titled and are indexed under their other titles."

Hi Guys,
Sorry, people upload them with different names and like the Four Color series it could be right either way.
Snard.  Thanks for your offer but I suspect it would be easier for the staff to handle.
That said this is a big job and frankly I'm slammed with the Hillman Spotlight and other obligations so don't expect anything to happen soon.

I could download A-1 issues & re-up them under their own titles to the misc section. You could then delete them from the A-1 section when you have a chance.

Geo said he would take care of this next week.
If you wanted to upload them as you suggested that might help Len.
Feel free.  Please be sure to keep all the original descriptions and credits.
