Hi Gang!
Donations have kept all the scans free for downloading going on 4 years.  We really would be lost without all you donors out there.  So, there's big news this month!

DCM teamed up with Golden Age Figurines (http://www.goldenagefigurines.com/) to make this month's donation drive special.

For every dollar donated, the donor will get 1 ticket towards their   Stardust the Super Wizard (Grey Boots Edition) (http://www.goldenagefigurines.com/stardust-the-super-wizard.html#.Ug3yJtKceSo) in DCM's first raffle!

At the end of the month we will have an electronic drawing (built into the forum software).  The winner will be determined and announced in a new post.

The winner will be contacted via the email address they registered with on DCM and their PayPal address.

The winner will receive a  Stardust the Super Wizard (Grey Boots Edition) collectible
figurine, a $27.95 retail value courtesy of Golden Age Figurines. (http://Goldenagefigurines.com).
This is a limited edition, hand painted, polyresin figurine sculpted at 1/21 scale
and standing 4.3" (10.9 cm) tall.

Stardust is the first in a new series of figurines devoted to selected superhero,
science fiction and horror characters from the Golden Age of Comics.
This collection will be compatible with the existing series of Marvel and DC
superheroes produced by Eaglemoss of England. Only 180 pieces of the
Grey Boots Edition have been produced; it features a gold foil label with an
individual serial number and comes in a custom full color box.
A Yellow Boots Edition (75 pieces produced) and Red Boots Edition (45 pieces)
are also available; details can be found on the manufacturer's website linked above.

As the sponsor of this contest I just wanted to chime in and say how happy I am that DCM met its fundraising target this weekend with two weeks still to go! Hope the Stardust figurine incentive helps raise even more money in the coming weeks for the site; it's such a terrific resource for dedicated fans of vintage comics and provides great inspiration for future figurines.

Just wanted to thank everyone who has donated so far and wanted to remind people to get involved if you want a chance to win the Golden Age Figurine.

Remember all it takes is $1 donation to get 1 ticket and be in with a chance of winning prize.

I was going to enter myself until Yoc mentioned staff can't win as would seem little unfair :(

Thanks so much to the donors out there helping keep DCM alive like this.

And good luck to everyone on the drawing.

Just a quick note, we had 3 donations today and yesterday which didn't appear on our donation page for some reason. Turns out script didn't like 30th and 29th September.... Don't ask me why but for a quick fix we have altered these donation dates to 27th and they now appear. We will look into this bug but because draw is very close we wanted a quick fix so no one missed our on the prize draw.

If anyone donates between now and prize draw I will be at PC to quickly enter them into the system before draw is made so this bug won't cause anyone to miss out.

Thanks Capt - if anyone is still thinking of donating - PLEASE donate sooner than later.  Don't leave it for the last second as the drawing will be done automatically by the software and Capt will need some time to adjust the date of your donation so this can go as smooth as possible.

Good luck to Everyone in the draw!
