In the mid fifties I read a British reprint comic called GUILTY ( or something like that ) and it had a true story about corrupt dockers and unions. One guy stood up to them and he was slashed with bailing hooks. This horrified me and I asked my father if this sort of thing actually happened. He rather kindly told me that it was only a comic and not to worry about it. He put the comic in the dustbin and that was that. It didn't deter me from reading or collecting comics and over the years I've amassed a few thousand of them. Now to the point of this post. I'd love to find this story and read it as an adult to see what upset me so all those years ago. Can anybody help, please.

Hi Super,
It might have been a reprint of the Prize title - Justice Traps the Guilty -

Thanks Yoc
I've read all JTTG that have been uploaded and haven't found it. Hopefully it will be in a future upload. I will keep searching. I just wondered if anybody else remembers reading it.

Cheers tilliban,
After all these years I finally got to read the entire story. I have to admit I still found page 2 emotional. (Probably because it brought back memories of so long ago and of my loving father). The images in my brain were reasonably accurate but As a child the scene looked worse. In black and white all the black lines looked like blood whereas the actual Color used on panel 3 page 2 made this much less of an issue.
It has been a unique experience for me to revisit my feelings as a child and compare them to my adults perception. For this I thank you.
Oh! Well! Now back to some less heavy superhero fare.
