How can we get this book on the site?
Does anyone have any leads?
JVJ?
Pool some bucks together, buy it, scan it, then resell it?

I may have it, have to look and see for sure.

Geo,
Any luck finding it?

Any movement finding Reform School Girls?
Class, anyone, anyone...

Checking GCD I see it was reprinted by Eclipse way back in 1989. I suspect Geo might be remembering that.
The original is now a pricey book to buy. $400 just for a good copy and $2-3,000 for fine (!) on Heritage!
Sadly, I can't find it listed on the LOC site or I'd ask Sooth to scan it for us. :-[

Eclipse reprinted the one story from the book. The comic must have contained more than just the title story, but whatever else it had, we don't know.
-
...and we can't scan in the reprinted stories, right?

Yes it was Yoc, but remember Pure Imagination did a copy too in 2010 of Eclipse's 1989 book. That most likely the issue I remember.

Thanks guys.
Sorry B, modern reprints, even of PD material, are not allowed on the site.

There is one on Ebay currently.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/REFORM-SCHOOL-GIRL-1-1951-clasic-cover-/380524595705?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item58990889f9
At $1,900, a little spendy for me.
Hmmm....
Another for $3,500

Yikes!!!!

The reprints are perfectly safe to carry. I think it has been clearly ruled that removing the color is not considered making a significant change to the content and can not be copyrighted.
-
Sorry Narf.
DCM wont be taking that route.
-
The problem from our perspective is more that we don't know that those were the only changes. If they had an artist redraw the art, that's an entirely new work. If we did know that, then we'd have access to the original and we wouldn't need it.
-
Thanks John. You explained it nicely.

Any news on Reform School Girl?
Thanks,
B.

Nothing. It's not at the LOC and I know of no sources.
