An interesting conversation by fax only with a creator in Kitchener brought up an interesting concept/thinking...
If you have HA.com providing hirez scans of vintage artwork that goes to auction...
1) would you pay big bucks to get an artist edition of the same hirez scans?
( I am guilty of this with Dave Stevens and Wally Wood )
2) would you NOT buy and marvel at the artwork digitally?
( I am also guilty of this, since there are only SOME pages in certain collections that excite me )
Thoughts?

AND you'all get a kick out of this...
Since I hardly "read" the internet, I just recently came across the donation option on DCM! Yeah, you can now start laughing at me. :)

Comic strip do something like that. They offered prints of the comics you can buy. I guess there are some that buy them. I would not buy.

GPG made a very generous donation after making this post.
Thanks G!
And you bring up an interesting topic I'd never thought of before. HA's scan resolutions are generally good but there are some that aren't that big as well. I haven't spotted the trends yet.

Further off-topic, but since you brought up fax machines, guess who uses one...sorta.
