Hi all
after reading some interesting facts about these comics.i was wondering if any of these have been uploaded?
some titles include Dime Comics, Three Aces, Grand Slam Comics, Lucky Comics, Active Comics, Commando Comics, Rocket Comics, Big Bang,Triumph-Adventure Comics,Better comics and Three Aces.
Publishing Companies include Maple Leaf Publishing in Vancouver and Anglo-American, Hillborough Studios, and Bell Features (called Commercial Signs of Canada at start up)
these comics are very rare but are undervalued from what i understand.any help would be great.thanks

thank you again Yoc.i am shocked that British reprints go back so early.i always thought it was Marvel silver age stars that brought super-heroes to the UK.Opens alot of questions to which was the 1st ever American comic to find its way over to these shores??
we will most likely never know for sure?? :-/
i will bet on Captain Marvel but thats i wild guess for an amature collector. ::)

Let's see, was the first superhero Superman, or Popeye? Anyway, I just gargled (on another computer) for SUPERMAN COMICS BRITAIN OR UK -- and got a hit at comicpriceguide.co.uk saying that before official DC UK publication started in 1959, the UK's options were mainly Australian reprints. The earliest seem to date from June 1947. The earliest UK publication may have been by KG Murray in April 1950.
