Title: hello from the past

 O0 Greetings, earthlings. I just joined here, just learned of this place yesterday. Other than numerous time-outs when downloading, all is well. Introduction: I've been into comics for a rather long time, since a cousin first whipped out his stack of Kurtzman-era MAD mags, and even before then, when our local paper reran OUT OUR WAY and OUR BOARDING HOUSE panels and SMOKEY STOVER strips. (I'd kill for a SMOKEY STOVER omnibus!) A bit later, I was more heavily involved, selling underground comix and papers on streetcorners in Hollyweird and Berzerkely about 4 decades ago. It's been all downhill since then. Most of my paper collection isn't in USA public domain yet, so I won't be uploading much, if at all. Sorry about that. But I look forward to filling my drives and eyeballs with material from here. Cheers!

Welcome C!
JVJ and some others here were from your time and place in Berkeley.  Lots of fun stuff to enjoy.  Check our 'Classic Newspaper comic strips' sections for the vintage stuff.
