Hi Gang!
I'm sure this will be of much interest to the pre-code horror fans out there as well as any fan of the golden-age of comics.
These committees along with Wirtham's famous SOTI (Seduction of the Innocent) and the eventual creation of the Comics Code Authority would effect comics for several decades following.
Here are two links to audio recording hosted by radio station WNYC's Archives and Preservation Department.
First up is chairman Robert Hendrickson's introductory remarks at the famous Congressional hearings on the link between comic books and juvenile delinquency, broadcast over WNYC on April 21, 1954.
