Scanned and uploaded my first full-issue scan today!

Blue Bolt vol. 6 no. 2 ctc. Scans are raw except for some cropping and resizing. Pending Admin approval at the moment.

Book had a cover and all the pages were still stapled together when I started. Can't say that now although the cover coming off and pages falling out made it easier to scan. lol  If there is any interest in editing I saved the raw .tif files, but the whole issue is almost 1 gig.

Congrats on your first scan.

The books do occasionally fall apart. I had Rangers 26 fall apart when I scanned it, cover and first 6 wraps. After the first 5 wraps had come off, I started scanning from the inside out, and the sixth wrap came off when I got to it.

Congrats on your first scan, welcome to the ranks and sorry your book didn't survive.
As I always say in this case - it died a noble death but will live on forever in digital form.

Hahaha! I bought it to scan anyway. I have a lot more respect for scanners now too. That's long, tedious work! :)

Amen to that brother.  I hate my slow as hell HP Scanjet (talk about a misleading name!) with a passion.  I'm sure paint must dry faster!  But it sure feels good when a book is done and shared on the site.

Thanks Watson and  now  you know the love we have for comic fandom. What other bunch of nuts would spend so much time and money just to share.
