Found this on the CGC boards while trolling for covers -
Harlan Ellison shows off his Comic Book Collection, I think Jim might have some competition. ;)
I think Harlan would be a natural as a member here.

Hope the link works!

No doubts, Yoc,
but of all of the comics he showed or talked about, only Jingle Jangles and Sandman overlap in our collections. I'm not a big Fawcett Marvel Family fan and early DC has always been beyond my means. And saying that, I can also claim honestly that I've never spent more than $40 for any book in my collection. Mr. Ellison is much more open to the higher-priced market giving him an enormous edge in any "competition".
I'll still bet you that I have MORE comics than he has. Not worth NEARLY as much, but more quantity.

No doubt he's got significant buying power. I've always admired your never spending more than $40 on a book. It was fun seeing what his first comic ever was. I can't recall mine though it likely was a Scrooge McDuck.

Love to get my hands on scans of his Captain Marvel, Jr.'s and Captain Midnights to fill up our slots. But it's not likely!

"Halan Ellison shows off" is redundant.
