Was having a bit of a problem trying to upload here and elsewhere, but that's more to do with my computer than anything.
Here is a paper & fiche Captain Marvel Adventures #24. Since the copy I used was missing pages (ifc, ibc, pgs 3-4, 33-36, 65-66), I used the pages from Darkmark's fiche file. Front and back covers come from Heritage. For those of you wondering, the Monster Society of Evil chapter is complete, the missing pages don't affect it.

Thanks ALV,
in this case you file is too big for hosting on DCM.
It's 235mb! I'll shrink it down to a smaller version and share you larger one in a LINK with it.
This might take a little bit of time though so stay tuned.
And welcome to the forum, I can't think of a nicer first post to make!
;)

A shrunken 36.06mb version of this scan made by Geo is now up.
Al's HUGE version is also included as a Megaupload mirror link.
Thanks for the upload AL!

Just in case I can't upload to the site, this is Captain Marvel Adventures #39:

All paper except for the ifc, ibc, and bc (those are from darkmark's fiche file). Cover is from HA.

Hi AL,
Haven't seen where you are uploading yet. This one is a good size for the site. Let me know if you have any problems.

Just got it through, hopefully it'll be up.
-
Now up and looks great, thanks very much ALV!
:)
-
Always good to have more Captain Marvel Adventures.
Thank you very much.
-
I just uploaded Captain Marvel Adventures #25. Only fiche fills were for the inside cover pages and two ads. Front and back from HA, and the rest is all paper (low-condition but still readable). The file will probably show up on the site at some point.

Now Up! Thanks ALV!

I just tried uploading Captain Marvel Adventures #38 but I don't know for sure if it went through. It's a paper file with three fiche pages from darkmark's file (ifc, pg 37, 38). For those wondering, this doesn't affect the Monster Society chapter either.
-
Hi ALV,
nope, I don't see it anywhere. If you are using the Upload File link be extra sure to his CONFIRM when you see it at the bottom of the page after the upload completes.
-
I keep getting a "There is no file currently available for download" note so I'm going to try to modify the filesize some more (it's currently around 98 MB)
In the meantime, if you can't wait, here's the 98 MB file: http://www.mediafire.com/?prarxear3yi7ob6

Hi AL,
that's usually what you see if you don't Confirm it. Scroll the page down.
Also you are getting towards the upper limit for a file on the site.
If you are able to use FTP software there is the option of uploading to our FTP as well if you'd like to try that.
Let me know and I can send you the login info for there.
GL with the upload,

Okay, I think it should've uploaded this time. For some reason I didn't see the confirm button (might've been a combo of being tired that day & the computer running really slow to load)
-
That did the trick ALV.
Now up, enjoy everyone.
:)

Just uploaded Captain Marvel Adventures #37. Paper except for pg 24 and 25 (missing face contest and Captain Marvel Club paper drive), which come from Darkmark's file.
-
Now up, thanks very much AL!

Sometime this week I'll be uploading paper (or in some cases paper-fiche) files of Captain Marvel Adventures #34-36. Unfortunately though my copy of #34 has some pages affected by printer smear, but it'll do for now.
-
We'll be on the outlook for them AL.

I've uploaded #34-36, but #35 is 112 MB. I planned to reduce the size on that but my computer crashed recently so I can't use Photoshop at the moment.
I think as of now, the only fiche pages left to replace in the Monster Society of Evil story is just the two pages from #26 where there were two torn pages filled in with fiche parts. Other than that it's all paper.
-
Thanks very much AL!
#35 is very close to our upper limit for scan size. I recommend a bit smaller or if any bigger break it into two parts.
-
The forum was down so I didn't get to mention that I had uploaded Big Shot Comics #104 last night. I was in a rush so I forgot to mention that my copy didn't have the centerfold.
-
I'm just curious why the file size is so huge on that Big Shot Comics. If it's a matter of image quality keep in mind that when saving to jpg in Photoshop the quality bar has very little to do with how the final image looks.
-
Thanks for the new scan ALV.
You are at the upper limit of individual file size with this Big Shot issue. Any bigger and the site software would have rejected the book as too large.
If you ever have anything bigger please break it into two near equal sizes and upload it as 'book title pt1' and pt2.

It was by accident, I was rushing too much that day and was trying to get a lot of stuff done, so I got unfortunately careless about checking the settings on the scanners and Photoshop. I'll try to make a smaller file later on in the week.
-
Thanks AL.
Anything up to 100mb we can handle in one file. After that two parts is easier on some people not on high speed connections.
-
I just uploaded a smaller version of Big Shot Comics #104, hopefully it went through.

Now up, thanks AL!
