Hello
Does anybody know where I could possibly download the newspaper Sunday comic "Sprit Section" from say Dec 41 thru December 49. I am looking for the Lady luck stories...I know some are here on websiite. I used to have a ton I xeroxed years ago....they faded out now completely....They were from The Philadelphia Inquirer...I called the library who was of little help.....any ideas would be appreciated. I know many other newspapers also carried the Section

There are two "homemade" Lady Luck Archives (part one and part two) on-site. If you click on "Home" at the main site and scroll down, the first thing you will encounter is the "DMC Archives and Collections." I doubt that all of the Lady Luck material is in those two volumes but certainly a great deal of the Lady Luck stories from the Spirit Sections are housed in those two digital volumes.

Thanks for these archives. Love Lady Luck. I echo the sentiment, "What's not to like"?

Thanks everybody...I did download everything Lady Luck here...I can assure you there is a treasure trove of Lady Luck Stories ....mostly on microfilm...sitting in libraries across the country.....Getting to them is a painful process....for example in Philadelphia you had to put a request in for a particular microfilm reel.....scroll through it until you found the Sunday Spirit Section and then ask the librarian to make you poor quality copies.
Looking to see if any library had converted any of their microfilm stuff over to the web. ...if you figure she debuted in June 1941 and disappeared around 1946-1947..and was on every Sunday...there is some great stuff to be discovered.
Anybody ever use this site?...thinking of trying it.
