Title: Golden Age Sword & Sorcery?
Post by: mchlk on January 28, 2011, 10:12:56 AM
Howdy Folks,

I was wondering if anyone knew of any Golden Age S&S comics availabe on DCM?

I'm not sure if there ever really was such a thin, but I'd thought I'd ask :)

The only thing I've been able to find so far has been "Crom the Barbarian" in
Avons Out of this World Adventures.

Slave Girl Comics (also from Avon)might qualify...  depending on your definition.

It's not on DCM but I recently picked up a copy of The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (Four Color) #944-Dell-(1958)- which features 33 pages of John Buscema doing Sword and Sorcery many years before his work on Conan.

Best

Also try the Golden Knight, one of a group of knightly heroes that came out during that time.
