Title: Can't log in for down loads

Activated account. Log in to forums works fine. When I try to log in to down load some comics I always get an error. Any help would be great.

P.s. Tried a couple different browser and my iPad. Error message at bottom.


Error: Login failed...There was an error locating the details for this user
Failed inside $this->usertype->do_login()
. If you believe this to be in error, please quote the above error and report this to the admin

I'll try changing your password and logging in as you on the site SD.
If it works I'll pass along the new PW in a Private Message.
Javascript must also be on.

Hi Yoc,
My account is activated, as others i can't download any  new comic, got an error message.
Working fine yesterday.

If the problem persists more than 24 or 48hrs let me know.  Occasional 'brownouts' or very slow downloads have been known to happen.  Usually it self corrects and the staff doesn't have to do anything.

i am having this same issue.  clearly I have registered as I am posting here. I receive all the previously stated user problems as well as these:
no use name entered.
or
cannot find user info please register
and a  mess of other things as well basically indicating I am not a member.

Having trouble even login  in the download section and sometimes I can't even login in this forum.
I have tried all the solutions before , to no avail.

Yoc,

Yet another user with the same problem. My login is recognized on this forum, but on the main site I am locked out with the same error messages everyone else gets.

Thanks for passing along any secret words or mysterious hand gestures that will grant access.

Hi HP.
As I say above - if the problem persists for more than a couple days please let us know.
Quite often it's a temporary thing.
Please also try using a second web app for accessing the site - FireFox or IE.  Sometimes an error will happen in one that doesn't in the other.

Actually, ripper, this is not the goldenagecomics.co.uk site. This is the digitalcomicmuseum.com site. Your best bet is to inquire for help at GAC or sign up here and see if things work out better for you.

I looked through our member usernames over at GAC and ripperjlt is not listed as a registered username there.

If after a couple day you still can't download I will reset you PW.  Be sure you've got Javascript on and that you've tried more than one web browser.
