I just noticed that. Without that competition for garnering posts, I think it will add to the quality of the posts by posters posting posts....um...I'm tired... :-X

It's a minor curiousity, but I've made 1 more post than the forum says I have.  I was surprised to look in on the new posts and see that DHFH had a 0 post count next to his name when I found my first (and then only) post in the thread.

Probably after you made your first post

If you look at my original post on this thread...about 20 minutes before that everything was reset

we all lost post count.

Thank the Zogs!  (And the Yocs, Aussie500s, and assorted Captian DJs, of course.)

One thing I hated about the previous boards was all the confusion of member status.  Especially since it was all related to posting, not contributions.

A great idea to eliminate those spurious petty rivalries.

Forcing posting would only mean that much more work for the staff to track down chit-chat from serious questions, etc.
