I noticed the first appearance of the Woman in Red has her costumed in a color closer to crimson than the standard comic book red. Also the coloring in this issue is much more varied and detailed than in later issues.

The crimson color makes The Woman in Red a little more mysterious and menacing. Nedor could produce some really great stuff when they wanted. They just never quite found a niche after superheroes waned, but they held on for quite a while nonetheless. I've always wondered what it would have been like if they had made it into the Silver Age. Would their Golden Age heroes have returned? Would they try to produce new ones?

I've been waiting a long time for non-fiche scans of the early issues of Thrilling. Thank you!!
