I was talking to a collector who lives in Oregon the other day.
He told me about a Alex Schomburg mural that had been "discovered" at a dam near his home!
It appears Alex did this mural in the late 1950's or early 60's.
Pretty neat story!
Has anyone else heard anything about it?
The newspaper story is from 2014.
Also to note, Alex worked with Stanley Kubrick on 2001: A Space Odessey.
Enjoy!

Thanks BM!
Nice to hear it's being restored.

Yeah, this came up a few years ago at either this forum or the CB+ forum, but it's still an interesting story.

What an amazing story! Thanks for sharing.
As a kid I read any number of the Winston SF books. Loved the endpapers. Somehow I got the idea that they were a colleague of the books' story elements. Spent a bunch of time trying to match the stories to those elements.
