Title: Archie Union of Super Heroes

During the 60s, "Archie's Madhouse" feat. parodies of superheroes, so I dusted them off to "legitimize" them. The issues #27-47 did not contain a copyright notice and were not registered with the copyright office. So, they are public domain.

I wanted a "serious" drawing of them, maybe around a table like the original JSA or the McGuire JLA cover - something showing them from about waist up.

Artist Lee Gaston kicks ass with this baby.

Super Disguise, Dynamic Doll
Super Flame, Super Sally, Super Foot, Super Steelman
Blue Beam, Carborundum Man, Steel Men
Some patriotic guy, some atomic guy, Captain Sprocket
Mighty Inch, some dude, Ms Sprocket

Superwitch wears a red pointy hat and minidress covered with crescent moons, stars and ringed planets. Her costume clearly doesn’t need a cape. ;)
