I noticed the inside front cover here is a color ad that is b&w and damaged for Spy Smasher #10.  Also, the ad on page 20 here in Wow Comics #9 is the same as the fiche ad on page 33 in Spy Smasher #10. I think replacing those pages would be possible.

Who was that character and in which comic (1940's) did he appear, you never saw his face full frontal, only a profile from the back of his head. I see no Sorceress of Zoom either, only one I picked up in Weird comics. Any help out there ?

Smilin' Jack had a friend at the airfield, whose full ace was never shown. As for the Sorceress of Zoom, could that be from early Blue Bolt? Have no time right now to check these out.
